What if I need to take it off?
If you need or want it off, the welded jewelry can easily be removed with a pair of scissors or nail clippers.
What do I do if my bracelet breaks or stretches?
Just keep the chain and contact us at hello@ellamaceo.com to schedule a re-weld free of charge.
Does it hurt?
No. The process is quick and painless. There is a flash of light as a metal welds but it will not be touching your skin and you won't feel thing.
What is Permanent Jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a necklace, anklet or a bracelet that doesn’t have a typical clasp. Instead, the ends are welded or “zapped” together. But dont worry if you still want a custom fitted but do not want the weld, we can add a clasp :)
How long does it last?
Even though it is designed to last forever, breakage can still occur depending on your lifestyle. Factors like wear and tear, sleeping habits, and exposure to chemicals may affect the chain's strength. We aim for your jewelry to last for years, but realistic expectations are essential. If claspless jewelry isn't suitable for your lifestyle, consider our custom-fitted jewelry with a clasp.
Will it tarnish or discolor my skin?
Please inform us if you have any allergies to metals or have had reactions to jewelry in the past. Skin discoloration can still occur even with solid gold products due to extreme skin sensitivity. We cannot offer warranties on how your skin will react to our metals. We recommend solid gold to reduce the risk of tarnish but even then we will send you with care instructions to reduce that risk!
Do you have warranty?
Yes! We offer lifetime FREE warranty on any re-welds as long as you bought it from us and bring the chain back.
14 day warranty if the chain gets lost or you change your mind and want another design or to add a clasp.
